Trick Demos on id's levels.

DM2 tricks.

DM2z1 : An assortment of useful jumps around dm2. Note the technique of the long jumps over the long stretch of lava and to the RA & MH.

DM2z2 : A quick tip for those of us who are prone to falling in the lava on that u-jump a little more often than we'd like...

DM2z3 : A stunning rocket jump from a ledge by the steps upto the GL & MH alcove. Amaze friends and pets alike with this jaw dropping jump. Hey, if you can't do it, just show 'em the demo and say it was you!

DM2z4 : Plenty of useful jumps around the pillar/lava area. Great for annoying LPBs who don't have a shaft!

DM2z5 : Probably the funkiest jump you'll ever see on Dm2. Be first to the RA & MH every time (well, almost!)

DM2z6 : It happens to the best of us every now and again; Here's how to get out the large lava pool between the two yellow armours so you can kick your partner's ass to the moon and back for trying to make a fool of you (or you could just squish him!)

DM2z7 : Another way of getting out of the large lava trap on dm2 - this time without a rocket.

DM2z8 : A camping spot which requires some pretty nifty footwork to get to...

DM2qw1 : U jump from the rocket launcher to the quad. This jump can only be done in Quakeworld (as far as we can tell!). This demo is still recorded in Quake however, although using QW physics.

DM2qw2 : Two demos, again using Quakeworld physics, showing a jump from the Rocket Launcher to the tunnel entrance opposite the Quad.

DM2hc1 : A jump over the water from the Red armour. Makes it just that little bit less obvious for your opponent to guess where you are.

DM2hc2 : Don't you just hate that spawn by the water? Do you find you can never escape without being found 2 seconds later? Well here's how to avoid letting that spawn annoy you...

DM2hc3 : How to get out the lava by the sliding platforms without getting your knickers in a twist!

DM2hc4 : Same as DM2qw2 but with a rocket. This one can be done in quake (be it a little more self-mutilating!).

DM2hc5 : Make it across the two moving platforms in one jump without touching either of them!

DM2hc6 : The ULTIMATE hiding place (until you start to drown!). No rockets involved - completely painless.

Rjumps : A selection of rocket-propelled jumps to get you around the level in no time at all. Includes an alternative to the u-jump, a way of getting upto the moving platform in two rcoket-jumps and a really sneaky hiding place (credit goes to Peter for that one).

Rjumps2 : Another installment of Rocket jumps. Another way of getting to the GL & MH alcove in one jump, this time from the steps below. Also includes 2 shortcuts to the Quad from the RL.

Rjumps3 : Three handy rocket-jumps around the lava and pillar area.

DM4 tricks.

DM4z1 : A large assortment of jumps to help you glide around the level with ease.

DM4z2 : A jump from above the Grenade Launcher, directly to the quad.

DM4z3 : An even more impressive jump than above. This time from the top-teleporter doorway straight to the Quad.

DM4z4 : A jump from the doorway above the Blue Armour over to the bottom of the Quad steps. And you thought it couldn't be done.......

DM4z5 : Ever wondered how to get out of the RL & MH room when some l33t LBP is pounding you with grenades? Here's how!!

DM4hc1 : Some nifty tricks you can play with teleporters. These have many applications for both defense and attack. Unfortunately they can't be done in Quake World. Still worth a look though...

DM4hc2 : When you're stuck by the mega-health and hear your opponent go into the SSG room for ammo, this double-rocket jump will come in handy - putting you back in the drivers seat!

DM6 tricks.

DM6hc1 : Be the first in the race to the Red Armour!!

DM6hc2 : A very tricky rocket-jump from the tunnel to the Grenade Launcher.

DM6z1 : With 2 swift rocket jumps get to the top layer of the 'ring' and no, this doesn't invlove getting onto the teleporter first.

DM6z2 : A nice hidey-snipey area!

DM6z3 : How to jump across the big 'hole' with the help of a rocket. Not what you may first think....

DM6z4 : A single rocket-jump to the top of the 'ring' - no strings attached (literally)!

DM6z5 : Here's how to jump from the grenad launcher into the tunnel without touching the floor.

DM6z6 : how to jump ontop of the teleporter in the RL & MH room without the use of rockets. Great for surprising people as they come through... Heh heh hehhhh.....

DM6z7 : Evasive manouvres around the 'ring'. Dazzle your opponent with your incredible control!

DM6z8 : ZzJohNzZ defies all logic here and shows you how to get to the red armour from the blue/green jacket in a matter of seconds. This along with another neat little jump of similar craziness makes this well worth the download!

DM6qw1 : This can only be done in Quakeworld, although in this demo Quake with QW physics is used. Jump straight from one side of the Donut to the other!

DM6qw2 : We couldn't do this one in Quake so this one is recorded in Quakeworld format (qwd). Basically it shows you how to get from the blue/green armour to the red armour in about 3 or 4 seconds - wh00p!

DM6qw3 : A set of two demos on how to bunny hop from the Green Armour to the Red and then back again in one go. The difference is in the ending.

DM6qw4 : A nifty little rocketjump enabling you to get from the main floor by the teleporter to the Grenade launcher using only one rocket.
